We are truly living through a world-wide epidemic and we are largely unprepared. Communities throughout the world have been caught off-guard by the virus’ potent potential for havoc and daily disruption. I pray that we can get through it all. People are afraid — and rightly so.
I am not a medical professional, or an expert on pandemics. I leave the serious information in those important fields for the professionals who have the appropriate training to help us get through the coronavirus epidemic. My words today are not meant to heal physically but to inspire spiritually. At this challenging time, it seems appropriate that those in a position to (re)build confidence should do so. In that spirit, I am sharing my thoughts on how we might be able to spiritually cope with the uncertain reality that has rapidly spread throughout our world.
The coronavirus is not only a disease of the body, but also presents an existential crisis that has put governments, businesses and, most important, communities and individuals on edge. Fortunately when you discover the reason why something has occurred, it can be a bit of a relief for you. It can take some of the pressure off, and it can allow you some new perspective that will enable you to change the way you see the event. That is why many of you want information. You want to know what THAT was about. You want to understand why things happen, especially when they are happening in your life.
I think the most asked question is “Why?” I am here to encourage you to think about this from a different perspective, through a few What If’s to make you think about the situation from a different perspective. I found the following piece on the internet, the original author was listed as Unknown but it was such a powerful piece, I had to share an excerpt.
“There is so much fear, and perhaps rightfully so, about COVID-19.
And, what if…
If we subscribe to the philosophy that life is always working out for us, that there is an intelligence far greater than humans at work… That all is interconnected.
What if…the virus is here to help us?
To reset. To remember. What is truly important. Reconnecting with family and community. Reducing travel so that the environment, the skies, the air, our lungs all get a break. Working from home rather than commuting to work (less pollution, more personal time). Reconnecting with family as there is more time at home. An invitation to turn inwards — a deep meditation — rather than the usual extroverted going out to self-soothe. Reconnect with self — what is really important to me?”
What if … the energies of our world have come to a halt, in order to magnify the issues at hand, in order to pin point to all, the errors of the past, and to instill a new cognitive understanding of that which is. Perhaps, the time has come to pay attention to that which truly is important, and that which truly fuels your world and all of creation, and to finally align humanity with its highest potential.
What if … they are not showing you the whole picture or telling you the whole truth, on what is going on behind the scenes. Perhaps they are trying to make you loose your composure and just live in fear. What if this energy was designed to control humanity through fear. Consider for a moment that fear is actually a vibration of energy. Fear could also be considered a virus. The energy of fear spreads very quickly throughout the collective consciousness. Negative emotions are addictive and highly contagious. This collective field of energy and emotional vibration has the ability to infect the thoughts of everyone. Everyone is empathic and feels this dense energy. Most suppress the fear because they do not know how to deal with it. Nevertheless they are a part of it.
The antidote to this pandemic of fear and helplessness is your awareness of who you truly are. Remember, negative emotions are addictive. Remember that emotions are contagious. Viruses are contagious, as are panic, fear, hysteria, calm, love, enthusiasm, kindness and joy. It is time for you to be honest with yourself and begin to honor who you are. When you recognize that you are responding to the events from a fearful state of mind, STOP! Reset your thoughts and projections which are only adding to the very thing you are disturbed about. This is a practiced skill that I am inviting you to master.
What if … this is a lesson being presented for all to experience. Through the magnification glass of fear-based programming, the outcome shall bring much a clearer vision, understanding of true reality and result in a more coherent, cooperation of all involved. We can use this opportunity to unite, or, we can use this time to blame and thus further divide. Do we really have no time for more drama. NONE OF US HAVE EVER DONE THIS BEFORE. Either rise to this occasion, or get out of the way. Remember that we are ALL on the SAME TEAM and to stop fighting with each other trying to prove your points one way or another, regarding this or that agenda, or this or that party. This truly is NOT the time to allow negativity to divide us. The time has come to pay attention to that which truly is important, and that which truly fuels our world and to finally align humanity.

We make our choices with each thought, utterance, tweet, post and activity. I invite you to be mindful and responsible to your personal well-being. Take the necessary actions that physically protect you from any virus. Practice good physical hygiene as well as good mental hygiene. Notice when your energy drops to match the collective fear.
Here is the most practical thing I will ever tell you: You have choice. Quickly shift your vibrations to a sense of divine well-being as well as physical and mental health. You have the choice in how you will attend to what is before you. Do not be swayed by fear. Know the Divine within you is stronger than anything you encounter. Choose wisely.
